Do’s — before & during your move
Share accurate inventory & access details
Inform us about major items, floors, lifts, parking access, and distance from truck to door.
Keep important documents & valuables separately
Carry jewellery, cash, original documents, and laptops personally in a small bag.
Label rooms & boxes clearly
Use labels like “Kitchen”, “Bedroom”, or “Fragile – Glass” to help the crew place cartons correctly.
Be present during packing & checking
Guide the team and confirm special instructions while items are packed and loaded.
Verify documents & vehicle details
Confirm job sheet, estimate and vehicle number before loading begins.
Inspect delivery before signing completion
Cross-check items and note any damages on the delivery sheet before signing.
Don’ts — to avoid disputes & risk
Do not hand over cash to unknown persons
Make payments only to official Laxpress accounts or payment links.
Do not hide items from the inventory
Unlisted items can affect vehicle space, pricing and insurance coverage.
Do not send flammable or prohibited goods
Petrol, diesel, gas cylinders, fireworks, chemicals, or illegal substances cannot be transported.
Do not sign blank or incomplete documents
Always confirm names, addresses and shipment details before signing.
Do not share booking screenshots as confirmation
Treat official invoices, job confirmation, and receipts as valid booking proof.
Do not delay informing about schedule changes
Notify us early if plans change so vehicles and crew can be rescheduled.
